Jon Thelen
Jon Thelen
is a full time professional tournament angler, product promoter and
fishing guide. Over the past 10 years, Jon has competed on several team
tournament circuits including the NAWA, WWA, MTT and MWC with great
success. In 2003, Jon began competing as a Pro on the In-Fisherman
Professional Walleye Trail and added the FLW Walleye Tour to his resume
in 2006.
Since 1998, Jon has been a
contributing writer/editor for several outdoor publications including
Midwest Outdoors, Sportsman’s News and Outdoors Minnesota.
He has also been featured in Walleye Insider, Minnesota Sportsman and
the Outdoors News.
You may also know Jon from
Saturday morning television. Over the past several years Jon has become
a regular host for Midwest Outdoors Television. He has also been a guest
host for "Outdoorsmen Adventures" and "People Who
Fish" along with appearances on In-Fisherman PWT Television.
Throughout the summer months
Jon guides with the same intensity and mentality with which he competes
in tournaments. Known as a "talker" on the water, Jon prides
himself on not only catching fish but teaching others to do the same.
