Mike Christensen
Mike has been guiding since 1994 and he enjoys every second of it! Mike feels he can make anyone a better fisher person. He works very hard on the water and anyone fishing with him will see that.
Mike likes to fish for walleye and smallmouth bass. He excels at slip-bobber fishing for walleye, but will fish any pattern that will put fish in the boat. He runs a nice Ranger boat and strives to keep it and his other equipment in top condition.
Mike can typically be found on the water 6 days a week during the summer. He boated over 2000 walleyes in 2001! Mike has not fished many tournaments but has placed 33rd in the 2001 Wave Wacker Tournament and 21st in the 2002 MWC Tournament on Mille Lacs.
Mike is a very patient person and has had several trips with children, many of those have been some of his most enjoyable. There’s nothing like watching someone catch their biggest fish ever. Lake Mille Lacs is full of big walleyes and giant smallies, so why not get out there and enjoy it today.
