McQuoid’s Guide Service Fishing Report and ATV Trail Report.
Fishing has remained good this week. Our guide and launch trips both have had a good amount of success for all species.
The Smallmouth bite has been on fire. Fish are now post spawn and have been hitting everything from plastics to cranks in shallow water.
The Walleye can be found both shallow and in the deeper gravel. Evening fisherman can find fish on the rock reefs with fish moving from the edges to the reef tops as the evening progresses. Most anglers are choosing to fish a leech under a cork but, rigging and cranks have also been producing fish on the deep gravel.
The pike have been hitting spinner baits on the weed lines and reeds on the bay edges. Many anglers have gotten into a muskie or two casting for pike this past week.
The ATV trails are in great condition. We have had some rain on and off keeping the dust down.
