At McQuoid’s Inn, we carry on the 70-year old tradition of Mille Lacs Lake launch fishing, offering morning, afternoon and evening departures with half-day, full-day and evening private launch options. Private charters are available for groups of 5 to 85 guests. On Saturdays we offer open/public launch trips for singles, couples, and families. The licensed launch boat captains are experienced fishermen and will always put safety first, work hard to find the fish, and make sure you are having a great time. They will give fishing advice and teach you some new techniques. If you want, they’ll even bait your hook for you.

We furnish the bait, tackle and expert fishing advice. All you have to do is bring your fishing license, camera, food, beverages, and dress for the weather. The fishing can be fantastic with trophy Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Muskellunge roaming these waters. Whether you are fishing or enjoying a social outing, favorite launch activities don’t just include catching fish! Make some memories share fishing stories, grill yourself a juicy burger or steak, watch for loons or enjoy the beautiful sunset.
***Bachelor and bachelorette party groups must privately charter launch trips. McQuoid’s Inn does not allow party groups on open launch boats.

Open Boats
leave at 5pm and return at 9pm, If 10-person minimum is met. All fish caught on our boats are catch-and-release only.
Evening boats leave at 5pm in August and 4pm in September.
Please book ahead so we have ample time to fill the launch boat.
