October Fishing Report
The fishing has been decent late fall here on Mille Lacs. Anglers are still picking up some nice Smallmouth Bass on the reef edges. Paddle tail style plastics have been successful in dark colors.
We are also starting to see a few nice large perch show up on the first deep off-shore breaks on the south end of the lake. As with this summer we still have a healthy population of smaller perch so there is some sorting through. They are biting well on a crawler or small minnow under a bobber. 22-26 feet of water is a great place to start looking.
The muskie bite is starting to pick up some with the cooler weather moving in. It should only get better as we push into November. Stayed tuned for updates as the bite picks up!
