March 10, 2016 Warm weather! Spring is on its way!
We can’t complain about the nice weather. The last few days haven’t been overly sunny but, the temps have been mild and the weather fair. Fisherman had good success in Isle Bay this past weekend for panfish and Northern Pike. Pike fishing is open until the end of the month here on Mille Lacs. Chapman’s Resort, one mile south of us in Isle, is still maintaining their access for ATV traffic for anyone wanting to get out and finish up their season on one of these beautiful days. Anglers have also been getting some hungry perch, that have been moving in shallow to feed on bugs.
Fire and Ice had a good turn out last weekend with temps in the 50’s and 60 teams competing for best smoked ribs, chicken, pork and brisket.
