Muskie’s and Minnesota’s Deer Rifle Season Shortly Underway!
Minnesota’s rifle deer season opens tomorrow, Saturday November 7th. It’s hard to believe the fall season has about passed us up and we will be heading into winter in a short time. We are wishing all hunters a safe and lucky season.
The Muskie bite has steadily been picking up. The water is still a little warm for the start of the Tulibee spawn, we are at about 49 degrees right now but, action has been heating up off the reef edges and breaks in about 15 feet of water. We have had reports of fish every where from 45″ to 52″. Anglers has been throwing a wide array of large baits like Bull Dawgs. The bite will stay good until the lake freezes up. Be prepared for chilly weather and wind. The county has removed the hazard markers for the year.
Keep checking in for the latest reports and feel free to share your fall fishing and hunting photos with us on Facebook or email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
